The White Room An eclectic selection of unique objects, artworks, antique & vintage furniture acquired from across the country and around the globe intermixed with new handmade high quality furniture and accessories. It’s not that everything in The White Room, an antiques and home furnishing store in Bantam, CT is white. The name is rather a reflection of the owners’ design aesthetic, that walls should be clean to keep the focus on the objects displayed in a room. The White Room was founded by Robert Deyber, a noted pop surrealist artist, and his partner, Robert Graham who have always been antique collectors with an eye for design. What initially began as an antique and vintage furniture and objects d'art store with unique one of a kind items quickly grew into an eclectic mix of old and new all while retaining a familiar style - of which has been described as "sophisticated - country". ![]() Mr. Graham & Mr. Deyber travel throughout the US and abroad in search of pieces that move them aesthetically, whether they are antique, vintage or newly made. Recently they have expanded their showroom online ~ where they can bring their selective pieces and antique finds to new and existing customers across the country. The White Room is located in the scenic northwest hills of Connecticut in Bantam - a small borough of Litchfield ~ the second most visited town in the state. ![]() |
